Common questions
Which type of flat do I need?
Hard-faced flats have a rigid ply or MDF face, ideal for painting, wallpaper or branding. Wrapped flats are covered in serge or canvas, lighter and good for masking. Open frames are left uncovered for you to dress or clad on site.
What sizes can you make?
Any size. Tell us the width and height of each flat, how many you need, and whether they join together into a wall.
Can you cut doors, windows and shapes?
Yes. Openings and shaped edges are cut on our CNC router, so they come out accurate and repeatable across a set.
Can you paint them?
Yes. Flats can be supplied raw, primed or painted. Tell us the colour or send a reference.
Do my flats need to be fire-retardant?
Many venues require it. Tell us what your venue asks for and we will include the right materials or treatment in your quote.
Do you deliver?
You can collect from our Nuneaton workshop, or we will deliver. Tell us where and when when you enquire.
